The tour started a 30 minute ride from Kuah, so with the normal hanging around to embark, allow 6.5 to 7 hours from your scheduled pick up time for the tour. The boat was comfortable, the captain competent and the English commentary excellent, considering our guide had to spread his attention across three boats. All in all, a very enjoyable tour, which I strongly recommend. Thank you too Nancie, for your great service from the tour centre.”

“I absolutely do not recommend this activity. It’s a complete tourist trap. First of all, you are asked to arrive at 9:45 a.m., but the activity doesn’t actually start until 10:30 a.m. Then, the guide we had was completely useless apart from driving the boat. No explanations were given about the park at all. He didn’t even come with us into the bat cave. Most importantly, do NOT listen to them: DO NOT BRING SNACKS. The “guide” will take you to an isolated island for 40 minutes without warning you that it is full of monkeys. The monkeys will attack you and try to steal your food. The guide didn’t…”
